Grilled Oysters

For those who don’t like the texture of raw oysters, here’s a fantastic recipe that’s done on the grill. It’s a perfect match for our Semillon, as the bright citrus notes bring a freshness to the dish. Download Recipe PDF


2 cups butter, softened
1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
1/2 tsp hot sauce
2 dozen large fresh oysters on the half shell

How To Make

Preheat the grill to 450 F.
Make the butter mixture by pulsing all ingredients, except the oysters, in a food processor until well combined.
Arrange oysters in a single layer on grill. Spoon 2 teaspoons of the butter mixture into each oyster.
Grill, uncovered, for 7 minutes or until the edges start to curl.
