Rumour Mill – Live!

Wednesday, July 31 | 7-9pm

Join us for an intimate back-yard concert as we welcome back the indie-folk duo, Rumour Mill.

Rumour Mill is a west-coast Canadian band headed by multi-instrumentalists & songwriters, Aline Deanna and Anna Katarina, currently residing in beautiful British Columbia.

Their first full-length album, What She Said (October 2023) is inspired by the likes of Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile and First Aid Kit. It is a collection of beautiful, groovy and memorable songs that feature a lush and groovy topography of violin, keys, guitar and mandolin, led by a narrative of iconic harmonies, produced by Murray Pulver (Crash Test Dummies, The Bros. Landreth) and supported by FACTOR’s Juried Sound Recording grant and Creative BC.

With melancholic melodies, soulful harmonies and lyrics that weave the listener through an exploration of timeless themes, these ladies will sweep you off your feet and leave you wanting more!

Have you got what it takes to make the perfect blend?

Join Owner | Winemaker Rob Hammersley on Saturday, August 3rd (4:00-6:00pm) as he takes you on a journey to blend your own version of our flagship wine, The Syndicate. We’ll start with a deconstructed tasting of barrel samples for each of the varietals included in The Syndicate. Learn both the art and science of blending, and how to balance flavour, aroma and texture. Then you’ll be put to work…doing a series of trial blends to find your perfect version of the wine. Once your masterpiece is complete we’ll fill up a whole bottle, cork it, wax it, sign it, and send it home with you.

Pan-Canadian Wine Masterclass – 2nd Edition!

Last August, the inaugural Pan-Canadian Wine Masterclass was held at Bella Terra Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a groundbreaking event and we were honoured to be invited to participate. The 2nd edition of the Pan-Canadian Wine Masterclass is set to happen in the Okanagan Valley on June 15th, and we are super excited to have been invited back for round 2!

Join winemakers from across Canada as we sample their wines from 13 different wineries coast-to-coast! Includes a welcome wine, reception with canapés, wine tasting, charcuterie break and an opportunity to meet the winemakers.

Hosted by Carl’s Wine Club and Hester Creek Estate Winery, this experience will go beyond tasting the wines as the winemakers delve into the intricate details of winemaking techniques. Participants will gain insights into how climate and soil influence wine characteristics and what goes into crafting the exceptional flavours that grace our glasses. Engaging discussions with industry experts and winery owners from across the country will captivate attendees, sharing anecdotes and wisdom that highlight the dedication and passion propelling Canada’s wine culture to new heights.
